La Fin du Monde

La Fin du Monde is a Belgian style triple fermentation (also refermented in the bottle) golden ale introduced in July 1994 and produced by Unibroue of Quebec. La Fin du Monde was named after the European explorers’ belief they had reached the end of the world when they discovered a new world, later known as America, and more specifically when someone in the marketing team (who was getting desperate with finding a satisfactory name for the beer) exclaimed to his discouraged colleagues: it’s not the end of the world!
